Behind The Lens

If you lived through the Sixties and Seventies and you really don’t remember much, rest assured that Mick Rock and Henry Diltz definitely do. And they have the evidence to prove it. This will be an unforgettable evening of stories and photography for you and your friends.

Behind The Lens is a two-hour plus visual feast of music photography and stories you may know but many more you won’t.

Henry Diltz opens the show taking you on a visual journey with stories behind some of the most iconic album covers and musical artists ever photographed including The Doors, Eagles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Woodstock and many more. You will be taken far behind the scenes of what the Sixties were really all about in this authentic, heart-warming and humorous ride that only Henry Diltz can provide.

The second half of the show takes the audience into the glam and excess of British rock in the Seventies. David Bowie, Queen, Freddie Mercury, Sid Barrett, Lou Reed, Blondie, Rocky Horror and many more iconic images and stories as only the most prolific still and video photographer of the era, Mick Rock can weave. This presentation is not for the faint of heart. These are the real stories as only Mick Rock can tell them - and tell them he will.

Mick Rock and Henry Diltz will be available to hand-sign and make available for purchase, their most famous photographic prints in a special after-show audience meet and greet.
