BIO

Originally from Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, Avenue B consists of 3 sisters aged 17
to 23. The girls moved to New York City in 2001 and the East Village became their new
home. The sisters have been performing across the United States since 1999, and since
moving to New York began playing in popular Manhattan venues such as Joe’s Pub,
Canal Room, Bitter End and The Living Room. The eldest, Olivia, is the main songwriter.
Beginning in early 2007, the girls collaborated with songwriter James Bourne of the
UK’s “Busted” and recorded a 4-track demo in London, produced by Bourne. Since their
transcontinental collaborations and the launch of their Myspace, the trio’s global fan base
has grown massively.

“It’s all about the song,” Olivia says. “A song’s message is what influences us the most
when making our own music. It’s what we listen for and what makes music so important.
The lyrics in our songs are the main focus.” says Dominique.

Olivia, [guitar & vocals] finds the most heartfelt and brutally honest way of telling a story
so that it’s painted immediately in your mind. Dominique [piano, keyboards & vocals]
arranges the harmonies and piano parts and also plays the guitar for fun. Gabby [drums,
percussion & vocals] has the most laid back attitude and completes the trio with strong
harmonies. “She’d probably much rather be in a Green Day cover band than play with
us,” jokes Dominique.

With interest from publishers, producers, managers and agents alike, the girls are ready
to break onto the professional music scene in a big way.
