Luke Dick is a songwriter/artist/filmmaker out of Nashville. Although he has cuts on major country records (Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, etc.), Dick is more eclectic artist and storyteller than twang. Written while he was hustling between NYC boroughs as a philosophy professor, his last DIY record, Abraco, was an indie-folk exploration inspired equally by New York’s East Village and eccentric folk of Harry Nilsson, Labi Siffre, and Nick Drake. Dick is currently finishing a documentary (with an accompanying soundtrack) entitled Red Dog, a This-American-Life-style depiction of his youth spent in a topless bar, where his mother worked. Release date expected in early 2018.
